Abstract

The present work shows the results that have been obtained through a study of Gender and equality in woman’s Access to management positions in higher education institutions from the care standpoint. This research was carried out in The National University of San Juan from 2016 to 2017. The methodology employed in this study is a mixed methods research that involves collecting, analyzing and integrating quantitative and qualitative research. In this study we consider different Latin-American feminist standpoints that contribute to make reflections to analyze this issue. These contributions are recovered in order to think about the results related to the distribution by school, position, age, marital status, number of children and the barriers to access to leadership positions.
