1st Conference of Education of the Peoples of Abya Yala. Interculturality and education: proposals from the cultural diversity

Abstract

The Conference “Education of the Peoples of Abla Yala. Interculturality and Education: Proposals from the cultural diversity” was held in the Cultural Center of the National University of General Sarmiento. The objective was to discuss the actions taken by different social actors in the field of public policy on intercultural education in Argentina. Throughout the review we present the different spaces and subjects that we are part of in this path towards a new awakening, which revolves around political-pedagogical projects from and for the people. It also addresses the historical treatment of the social and cultural diversity of the educational system, public policies and indigenous peoples and questions that will allow us to continue walking together, from complementarity towards a new encounter.
