Abstract

The article investigates access to new information and communication technologies (TIC) in women deprived of their liberty in a Salta provincial prison, reporting on the consequences for writing and vocational training practices. The proposal arises from the accompaniment in the production of the graphic magazine entitled Smile again, produced in the context of deprivation of liberty since 2017. The question from which this research begins is: How is this practice carried out within devices control and isolation? The methodological approach contemplates the gender perspective. This approach is a necessary anchor to analyze the conditions and limitations to which women deprived of their liberty are subjected, as well as a communicational perspective - of technological appropriation and digital knowledge - to approach the analysis of access and use of TIC
