Abstract

This article proposes an approach to the notion of territory from the perspective of Popular Education and recovers teaching experiences that account for the situation of subjects and their contexts in the field of Youth and Adult Education in the Province of Salta (Argentina) through techniques of collective mapping. The systematisation is carried out within a province-wide program of teacher training in the modality of Modular Structure Education. This is a learning system that selects and organizes contents according to social problems and breaks with the subject-based structure of traditional learning models. We share the result of a task of training with tools such as collective mapping, triple diagnosis and thematic research, aiming at contributing to the recovery of a historical accummulation of teachers’ knowledge in the field of adult education and perhaps contribute to recover a critical perspective in the design of the modality Youth and Adult Permanent Education within the Provincial Educational System.
