Abstract

In this article, we seek to discuss some advancements with respect to problems and meaning that we have been able to analyse in the research project on teachers’ residence undertaken in the framework of UBACYT 2011-2014, which went on in the period of 2014-2017, within the Programme “La clase escolar”, directed by Marta Souto and based at the IICE, UBA. We begin by presenting some features of this investigation; then we dig into some of the meanings that we found and studied according to a comprehensive and double hermeneutics approach that enabled us to capture the actors’ understandings (residents, practical classes teaches, co-trainers, among others); afterwards, we bring in new meanings drawing from the researcher’s interpretation of the findings. We will thereby identify some problems and present evidence, analyses and interpretations of the issue at stake as captured through accompanying the cases under in-depth analysis from a clinical standpoint. The case concerns a public training institution in the province of Buenos Aires.
