Representations about social relations in the farms in the cinema from Salta
Keywords:

This article presents an analysis of the representations of the rural and the farms in Salta emerging from the film “Deshora” by Bárbara Sarasola Day, with the aim of exposing the tension between the different manners of living, experimenting and signifying the farm. First, the representations of the farm are revised to shed light on the social positions and relations developing there. We then proceed with an anlysis of the reinvention of the rural in the cinematographic representations of the film “Deshora”, through a textualization of images that circulate in the local imaginary and intertwine a past and a present in the discourses built around the farm drawing on themes such as the employer / labourer relationship, insiders and outsiders, among others.
