Ethno-education: The new challenges of thinking about indigenous education in Colombia

The article intends to relocate the concept of indigenous ethnoeducation in a new cultural operation framework, inscribing it under the political perspective. For this, the research was done “beyond” the limits imposed by the policies of the Ministry of National Education in favor of the preservation of some languages, of some knowledge and of some narratives. Thus, making it possible to re-know it in other marginal practices that are directly linked to the indigenous doing. Under this reading, it was possible to reveal tensions and struggles of the Colombian State with indigenous organizations and of how from these encounters the ethno-education becomes one of the main tactics of representation and acquisition of power for these communities
