From a reflectixe professional practice to a "reflectixe writing"

I refer here to those professionals whose practice with undergraduate and graduate students we have researched on, from their testimonies, for more than twenty years of university teaching and from my own work as an institutional analyst. It is about health professionals, social workers and teachers at all levels of education. These professionals, field practitioners, members of virtual disciplinary teams, embedded in institutions that rarely consider formal contexts for group and systematic reflection of their professional work are lonely workers that regulate their practices according to their individual past experiences and contingencies, generally highly controversial and unstable. The professional genre (Clot, 1999) guides the decisions of these professionals as a flexible regulatory system to which they must adapt the actions and forms of relationship in a specific professional environment. Approaching this symbolic system show the requirements and available resources. These, that will allow everyone to develop his/her own style to achieve the objectives proposed, seems not to have been done, neither or in the course of undergraduate training novice nor in the professional one. On the one hand, young professionals repeat in their discourse that the knowledge acquired in training institutions do not adapt to the challenges of the field-, and on the other, in working contexts there is a lack of exchanges with colleagues that prevents the transmission of such reference.
