Abstract

This article presents the blended learning modality of education within the university environment, and analyzes how it is operationalized in pedagogical practice. The research design was non-experimental, descriptive-explanatory-correlational in scope, with a mixed approach. The data collection was carried out from structured interviews with postgraduate teachers. The collected data was analyzed according to descriptive and inferential statistics. The Faculties of Polytechnic, Chemical Sciences, and Exact Sciences of the National University of Asunción were taken as a case study. Teachers consider it important that the institution offer training courses for the technical-instrumental and didactic management of computer and virtual media. The structure is based on an introduction, contextualization of the modality, revealing opportunities and limitations. Subsequently, the methodological aspects are presented, which gave way to the description and interpretation of the results, to end with the conclusions and references.
